Neighborhood Watch
Have you had vandalism occur on your street or to your house (like beverages stolen from your garage or small pranks) and didn't feel it was a big enough incident to file a police report? If so, please contact Marina Leneave at 897.4627 with details on the incidents. As our Neighborhood Watch team leader, she is gathering data to show patterns and to see what The Grove as a whole could possibly do to make our community safe and vandal-free!

The GHOA plans to replace the swing sets at two of the Grove's four playgrounds in early September. Due to safety reasons, the deteriorating swing sets at Biggin Pond and Hawkins Wood were removed until new equipment can be installed.

Notice: Proxy Ballot needs to be Completed

The Grove Homeowners Association held a Special Meeting of the membership on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the community clubhouse. The meeting was called to vote on a Bylaws amendment to increase the term for Board members from one year to two years.

The Association documents require two-thirds (66.6%) or 500 of the 750 homeowners in the community to approve a Bylaws Amendment.  At the time of the meeting on May 12th, only 220 proxy/ballots had been returned.  Therefore, the meeting was recessed instead of adjourned to continue the process of obtaining additional proxy/ballots to approve this important amendment.  The May 12th meeting will continue in recess until the required number of proxy/ballots has been received. Exterior Property Modifications:

Just a reminder since this is the season for outdoor projects to be sure all approvals have been secured before beginning any modifications to your property.  Any landscaping, paint color changes, fencing, sheds, satellite dishes, playground equipment, etc. all require approval.  You may find pertinent information regarding this process under "Covenants and Bylaws."  This committee is in need of 2 additional members, please consider serving your community.  Most business is conducted online.
