Why do the police sit in Ridgemoor -- they should be on patrol...
The police officer said he had a complaint from Ridgemoor tenants -- that is why the police car sits there to give out tickets to people in the morning. Well -- how about instead of making easy money from numerous residents on the way to work maybe going 4 miles above the speed limit--- how about patrolling the neighborhoods instead. What about the cars getting keyed in Biggins Pond? How about the teenager in Gravity Hill who almost rear ended my car cause I slowed down to take the turn into the section and then actually had the audacity to yell at me for going to slow? What about the yellow lexus visiting his girlfriend speeding thru the neighborhood -- at least he was polite when asked to slow down. There are no police in the late morning or afternnoon when delivery trucks are zipping thru the neighborhoods and where are they are around mid-night when kids are now roaming the streets, ringing doorbells and then yelling back at the home-owners. What exactly is the future of this once beautiful residential neighborhood???

First off, on many assignments, the officers are not giving a choice. About 95 percent of the officers in this county hate doing traffic work but are ordered by their supervisors to sit in certain locations because citizens make complainants and want us to enforce a certain area. As far as the rest of your complainants, do you think you are the only citizen in the entire county? The county is over 350 square miles with over 340,000 residents. There is barely 450 officers and some leave every month because of the crap dished out at us from the county, the citizens, and the criminals. If you think the HOA should hire off-duty officers, then say something.
